Bucknell’s merit aid, in our case, was far behind that offered by schools like Lafayette, Colgate, Mt. Holyoke, and URochester. All 4 made generous offers of merit aid.<p>I applied ED 1 and now I’m just waiting for my letter to get here but I’m getting kind of anxious. I’ve been in all honors/AP english classes my school offered. 5 years of English. 4 years H. Even after weighing the pros & cons of each, he is not sure which program to pick. These types of schools are generally more aff...So far my list is Tufts(visited and liked a lot), WUSTL, Brown, Urochester(visited and liked), and Bucknell. Tufts, WUSTL and Brown are all reaches. I am qualified for Bucknell and URochester (SAT-1430,2090 GPA(unw)-3.78) but they aren't safeties by any stretch. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I had a 3.7 GPA, which is a little bit above average for MD schools. I did the JanPlan at Geisinger, which was arranged through Bucknell. .
